Buying a home can be a complicated and stressful endeavor.   When my husband and I decided to look for a new house, we soon discovered we weren’t quite sure what we were looking for.  For two years we attempted to do it on our own, looking through MLS, going to open houses and never being able to find what we wanted.  We were about to give up and stay put when we met Debra. 

We immediately fell for her charm and friendly personality and asked her to be our agent.  It was the best thing we could have done.  We can honestly say that Debra is the perfect agent. 

She puts you first, makes you a priority and treats you like her only client.  She listened to our wants and really paid attention to our needs.  When Debra showed us properties, she was always enthusiastic and never made us feel rushed or pressured.   She was always available to us, had the time to answer all of our questions and returned all of our emails and calls immediately. Her skills and knowledge of the local market and the purchasing process were invaluable.  When we found our perfect home,  just a few months later, Debra guided us every step of the way in putting in an offer, negotiating with the seller, and getting our offer accepted in a very short time. 

One of her strongest assets, and where she really shines, is her negotiating skills.  She fought for us and got us the best possible deal.   During all of this, she ensured everything went well during an anxious period, comforting us and allaying any concerns we had.  Once our offer was accepted, Debra utilized her contacts, helped us with the inspection and offered good consultation on the remainder of the process.  When the time came to sell our old house, we were full of confidence knowing that we had Debra on our side.  She actually exceeded expectations and brought much more to the table then we could have asked for.  She gave us advice and made suggestions on preparing for the sale and making small improvements to our home in order to maximize our profit.  Debra always kept us involved in the process and had respect for our input, consulting and working with us on every decision.  This was so helpful because we actually felt quite in control of the whole process.  Because of Debra’s knowledge and negotiating skills we ended up selling our home for a price very close to what we paid for the new one (which is twice as big!). 

We can’t express just how grateful we are, that Debra was a part of the whole experience.  We could not have asked for anyone better to work with.  Debra is a hardworking agent that will look out for you and your best interests and not see you as a “commission cheque”.
