Over the course of those years I have sold homes in both Oakville and Mississauga to a wide ranges of buyers including many first time home buyers. I absolutely love working with people buying their first home. Many times I have been asked why I love working with first time home buyers so much....here's why..... 

Buying your First Home - My personal experience!

Buying a home is a big decision even if you had done it before. But if it's your first home, it's even more important that understand the process and are never be afraid to ask questions - I still remember my first purchase. I was so nervous! I asked my agent to tell me everything I needed to know but didn't know what to ask. I trusted him and I was wrong. I had so many suprises (financially and otherwise) that I questioned my entire decision.

Fortunately for my first time buyers - I NEVER FORGOT THAT EXPERIENCE! I don't expect you to know about Land Transfer Tax, or how the offer process works, or what a home inspection entails - I consider it my responsibility to you to ensure you have all the information you need - before the offer and long before it becomes an unwelcome surprise.

What a popular street! We had so many inquires on this property, the only drawback was the fact that many people were looking for a four bedroom home and this home is only a three bedroom. Still, it sold very quickly and I am certain if it was a four bedroom it would have sold in multiples. The West Oak Trail's market is hot!!!! I wish I had a four bedroom listing on this street!

Just listed! A lovely three bedroom home in West Oak Trails. This beauty is on a lovely street and is a perfect family home. I know I'm biased about my listings (I think they are all wonderful), but what struck me was when I arrived on a beautiful fall day to put my sign on the lawn I had the chance to chat with several neighbours, and I was honestly so impressed by the great feeling there is on that street. There's no question it is getting pretty difficult to find a home in southern Oakville that's affordable AND updated. Values have consistently risen throughout Oakville. Now that Southeast Oakville, has become almost impossible to find a detached home that is livable (rather than a tear down valued only for the land), buyers are rediscovering the beauty of west Oakville. This lovely community has everything going for it, location (Close to Bronte GO station) proximity to the Lake and to fabulous parks like Coronation Park. The schools are great, the sense of community is fabulous and the area is still affordable. Of course there are plenty of homes that  while situated on beautiful lots, still require plenty of updating. Prices are all over the map, but generally speaking anything under four hundred thousand is probably going to need some work.

Known for its maturity, Falgarwood is a lush community with lots of green space, ravines and parks. Home to many of Oakvilles finest schools including small community schools and Sheridan College, this is a neighbourhoods filled with children walking to school and playing in parks.

The homes range from stacked townhouses to  detached 2 storeys, but this is also a community where bungalows and sidesplits are in high demand. Oakville Place and transportation including GO Transit and the QEW are just minutes away. Of course, if your destination is downtown Oakville or the lake it's a short ride south on Trafalgar to get there.
